LATEST STORIES
Hi, I’m Sabrina
I’m a writer, editor, designer and creative director with a career that has happily wandered through magazines, advertising, illustration, television, design, wellness and digital media.
From 2013–2016, I was an editor and designer at DesignSponge. I've designed for major Canadian magazines, written for publications including The Globe and Mail, Western Living, National Post, Canoe and Computer Arts, co-hosted an HGTV series, and spent several years sharing design and lifestyle ideas on Cityline.
Today, I’m based in a cabin in Whistler, BC, writing and thinking about how we live: our homes, bodies, habits, identities, choices and environments.
As a perpetual seeker of wellbeing, I’m also a certified Yoga and Breathwork Teacher (RYT-200) and NASM-Certified Personal Trainer.
WHAT I DO
CREATIVE STRATEGY CALLLET’S BRANDSTORM
A 60 minute 1:1 session to spark ideas, bring clarity, and offer creative direction to anything you're building — from a web page or marketing ideas to social strategy, brand naming, launch ideas, whatever! Bring the messy — we’ll turn it into momentum together.
SELECTED HISTORY
Design*Sponge · HGTV Canada · Cityline · The Globe and Mail · Western Living · The National Post · Canoe · Computer Arts Magazine · The London Home Show · The Vancouver Home Show · The London Home Show · Rogers Publishing · RocketAir · MMGY Origin · Pattern BrandsI’ve worked inside publications, agencies, television an event productions and brands — which means I know how ideas are conceived, commissioned, made, edited, approved, occasionally ruined by committee, and — when everything goes right — turned into something people genuinely find value in.
My work has been recognized by The Society of Illustrators, Applied Arts Magazine, Computer Arts Magazine, and the Adobe Design Achievement Awards, with multiple features on Behance.
