— Soooo we’re doing a big backyard makeover. Nearly six years after buying our Whistler cabin, we’re finally ready for round two of renovations, to a much smaller but super impactful degree. This time around, instead of gutting the whole home like we did round one, we’re doing what I could call… refinement upgrades. Those tweaks that only become obvious after living in a home for some time and feeling it out, as well as some full-blown updates to areas we never did touch yet: like our wild, fern gully of a backyard. I will share a bigger post on this whole project in a few weeks, but for now here’s a teaser of some landscaping inspiration we’re looking to mimic.

— I just love this pea ear Pin by Katherine.
— I’ve been learning a bit of Feng Shui lately (look out for a blog post on this soon), so cue me sourcing the perfect garden fountain to bring the water element into our space.
— I used to exclusively use wood and steel tools until I saw a bunch of old food gunk trapped in them. Sometimes a silicone tools is needed, so my kitchen’s newest addition includes GIR kitchen tools which come in a swath of colours.
— It may not be solid marble, but it sure looks like it. This Cosmic Bistro Table in marbled concrete has my eye for our dining room-to-be.
— If I hadn’t already purchased this boucle storage bed for our guest room, I’d be pulling the trigger on this Dupont Upholstered Platform Bed on sale right now for $1600 CAD.
—This A&F 100% cotton rollnek sweater comes in oodles of colours and patterns, and I need them all.
— Bought these fabric table lamps for our primary bedroom from H&M’s Clearance Sale (holy moly discounts). I like how low and glowy they are, so we can still access the windows behind them.
— Speaking of which, these brown frayed shorts are just $11 and still available in most sizes.
