Our Cabico Kitchen Design Plans
It's wild to reflect on the past six months and realize that we haven't had a real kitchen since June!
Along the journey, we created makeshift food preparation areas all over the house—and we grilled a lot! But for most of 2020, we've been brewing our morning coffee next to the laundry machine, so needless to say, I am thrilled to finally announce that we are awaiting our final kitchen, being delivered the first week of December (which is coincidentally my birthday week)!
Waiting this long for a kitchen proved to be quite beneficial. Having time to live in the space with floors and walls completed made it easier to plan and visualize exactly what we wanted. And it acted as a great visual aid, reminding us of all the little decisions to make and people to call.
After so much planning and coordinating, we are anxiously awaiting the arrival of our kitchen cabinets and countertops, our hardware and decor, all of which will be trickling in over the next few weeks, ahhh!
But just before I get into all our kitchen details, from cabinet colour and countertops to hardware and hood vent design, I wanted to thank our sponsors: Cabico, we are so grateful to have you making our kitchen, and Heather, you've been a joy to work with; Dekton,
We are eternally grateful to Heather and the team at Cabico, as well as Erin at Flying Camel for making this possible. Without your generosity, this kitchen would never have been possible.
Our Kitchen Plans
It's arriving and being installed in a few weeks, just in time for the Holidays!
Exciting stuff.
