One Wallpaper, Styled Two Ways

If you like wallpaper, and you don't know about Hygge & West, sorry for just stealing an hour + of your life.

Hygge & West's beautiful line of wallpapers and home goods feature collaborations with artists such as Julia Rothman, Rifle Paper Co., Oh Joy! and Justina Blakeney, to name just a few. Recently, they featured me on their blog through their Wallpaper Two Ways column which includes an interview about my career, home and creative work. As part of the feature, they challenged me to create two different looks using just one of their beautiful wallpapers.I chose their Otomi Wallpaper because it’s both bold and versatile. It's like a graphic, illustrative play on toile. You can check out the full interview here, but today I thought I'd share the looks and shopping guides with updates to products that have since been discontinued or are out of stock. This is how I describe the first look: "The living space would belong to a vivacious creative-type whose style is unfussy and evolves a lot, but whom partners thrift store finds with pieces they’ve been saving and holding out for."

This is how I describe the first look: "I imagine the bedroom belonging to someone older and more established. Perhaps they own a few felines and enjoy the finer things in life. So the first space is me now, and the second is me in 30 years?!"
